08-08-2008, we celebrated National Day in school. We had the usual formal ceremony, mass dance in the hall and the concert. Formal ceremony was okay, I thought the mass dance was kinda weird. NO OFFENCE, but the song's low and there's taichi moves? They don't really go together you know. The concert was okay, everyone sang loudly for community singing. oh, and we were given clappers too(: We took quite a few photos during the concert. Haha, go see them in my Facebook photo album: FRIENDS((: BTW, the hot pink FBT I was wearing today isn't mine, so don't get jealous as yet. HAHAH(:

Oh, it was the Olympics opening ceremony too. The performance was really grand, a lot of people were involved. The dancing and everything was quite nice. Heard from my mum that China spent like 47 BILLION on this Olympics. Last time when Sydney hosted it, they only spent like 1.7 billion. NOTICE THE HUMOGOUS GAP. But it was super boring when they were introducing all the countries, with their representatives and athletes walking in.

HAPPY NATIONAL DAY SINGAPORE.(: I studied today, went for service at church. At church, sang lots of songs, prayed a lot, for our schools, our families, our country. oh, I also had my first communion(: Charmaine said it was okay, though I'm not baptised yet. But even without the communion, I wont forget all that He had done for us(: I had like a 1 hour dinner, was watching the boring part of the celebration on TV. Didn't bother watching the dances and all that. Its always about the same anyway.

BTW ; I know I shouldn't be too worldly and listen to worldly songs too much but I'm just so in love with Owl City's The Saltwater Room. Forgive me, O LORD, but I can't resist this addiction. :D

Oh, & I wont be posting as often due to common tests. Gotta work really hard this time. CAN'T FAIL MATH AGAIN!
