Today was SUPPOSED to be youth day celebrations.
But THANKS to stupid H1N1, it was cancelled.
And thus, we had normal lessons.
But THANK GOD, its an odd week friday, and lessons ended at 1.30.
The school gave us a shoe bag, made of poncho material. -.-
I got dark green. -.-
Chen Lao Shi was really nice, she gave us a pouch.
I took a pink and brown one, adding to my amazingly huge amount of pink/red stuff I already have.
Awesome.
Chen Lao Shi's so sweeeeet.
Was so hungry on the way home.
We had our recess at 9 okay.
I reached home at 3.
Then I decided to cook instant mee goreng.
It was very delicious, hahah, seriously!
OH.
Had height and weight today.
I've really concluded that I've stopped growing.
I'm still 160cm. -.-
But I lost 2 kg. HAPPY :D
(Ps. I didn't go on a diet like so many people in the class.its madness la.)
I'm surprised teachers didnt give homework for the long holiday.
Hopefully they won't send homework through the email.
Cause I plan to go out with Kar Yee to shop.
Like celebrate my birthday, since I have E math test on my birthday.
Which is like a vacuum, sucks.
I was really eager in chinese class today to answer lao shi's oral conversation questions.
Hahah, hoepfully people were not irritated.
I prayyyy that O level orals on 14th july would be like lao shi's,
quite nice to talk about.
BTW, can I say that I really hate H1N1 and I think AYG is quite a failure.
1. H1N1 caused many AYG participants to go home, decreasing the competition between athletes drastically.
2. H1N1 causes many people to be cooped up at home for 7 days for nothing.
3. H1N1 made many people afraid of people who sneeze/cough.
4. AYG opening ceremony was terrible. ON TV. Lousy cameramen.
5. AYG council caused confusion about the type of uniform athletes can wear.
6. AYG council caused confusion about the selection, causing some athletes to slack in some heats (which is the norm) but was actually the choosing stage to determine who goes into the semis.
7. H1N1 caused some athletes to miss their heats and not be able to take part and win medals for Singapore as they were suspected to get the flu, but the longgg checks showed negative results and had caused them to miss their events.
8. AYG council priced tickets too high, causing Singaporeans to have little interest to go watch the matches.
THEREFORE, I THINK THAT AYG HAS LOTS OF SPACE FOR IMPROVEMENT AND THAT H1N1 IS ALSO LIKE A VACUUM, SUCKS.
Btw, my dad took part in the yew mei green table tennis competition (male category) last night.
And he's in the finals!
He'll be playing another competitor tmr morning.
Go, daddy, go.
I hope he wins.
I want him to teach me mannnn.
